The Listeners

‘Is there anybody there? said the Traveller.
Knocking at the moonlit door;
And his horse in the silence champed the grasses
Of the forest’s ferny floor.
And a bird flew above the Traveller’s head:
And he smote the door again a second time;
‘Is there anybody there?’ he said.
But no one descended to the Traveller;
But only a host of phantom listeners
That dwelt in the lone house then
Stood listening in the quite of the moonlight
To that voice from the world of men:
Stood thronging the faint moonbeams on the dark stair,
That goes down to the empty hall,
Hearkening in an air stirred and shaken
By the lonely Traveller’s call.
And he felt in his heart their strangeness,
Their stillness answering his cry,
While his horse moved, cropping the dark turf,
‘Neath the starred and leafy sky;
For he suddenly smote on the door, even
Louder, and lifted his head:-
;Tell them I came, and no one answered,
That I kept my word,’he said.
Never the least stir made the listeners,
Though every word he spake
Fell echoing through the shadowiness of the still house
From the one man left awake:
Ay, they heard his foot upon the stirrup,
And the sound of iron on stone,
And how the silence surged softly backward,
When the plunging hoofs were gone.

History is boring
And I feel like snoring

I’m Scary

Today an hour back I was reading Princess Diaries. I was reminded of last night when I scared my brother.

He studies in well-furnished servant room(just kidding)which is away from the main house. He was listening to Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers full volume on his boom box. I sneaked into his room wearing a bright red dress, I tried to scare him and he shouted loud in fright. It was so funny. He grabbed my shirt and tried to punch me in my face. Then we had a mini Holi throwing water on each other. The expression on his face was so funny that I laughed all night.

It is fun scaring my brother.

Nishabd music review

I was forced to listen to the songs of Nishabd at my friend’s place. I was so terrified that i had to write about this.

The first song of the album is Rozana by Amitabh Bachchan. The song is very slow and boring. The next song is Take Lite sung by Jiah Khan. I was so irritated by the first song, that I had no patience to listen to the next one. I bet it would be worse than the first one. The other songs of the album are from Amitabh Bachchan’s movies: Baabul, Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahi, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo, Baghban, Kaante, Waqt and Tera Chehra. All of them are poor.

My advice: Don’t buy it, don’t listen to it.
Rating: 1/10, 1 because the album is not empty
